Role Description The Senior Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in Abu Dhabi and involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and consultants to manage schedules, resources, and technical issues. Key responsibilities include supervising site teams, reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, conducting inspections, resolving on-site challenges, and preparing progress reports. The Senior Site Engineer will support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental procedures, monitor subcontractor performance, and contribute to continuous improvement in construction methods and site productivity. The role also requires proactive communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track and maintain Trojan’s standards of reliability and service.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in civil or structural engineering, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Proven experience in site supervision and construction management for large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, with familiarity in using relevant construction and project management software.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices, with a track record of promoting safe work environments.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary site teams and collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address technical and operational issues on site in a timely manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; professional certification or registration is an advantage.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC construction market is preferred, with familiarity with local regulations and standards.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Abu Dhabi and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
