Senior Site Engineer

Location: Qasr Al Jurf, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer – Civil to oversee and coordinate civil construction activities for a major development project at Qasr Al Jurf, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE construction experience with a main contractor, with proven experience in building and apartment projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project disciplines to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed according to the approved programme.
• Review drawings and technical documents and coordinate with the technical team to resolve site issues.
• Inspect completed works and ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and site resources.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues in coordination with the Project Manager and relevant teams.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with HSE requirements and company procedures.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection requests, progress updates, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and ensure timely closure of comments and observations.
• Support quantity measurements, material inspections, and subcontractor coordination as required.
• Ensure proper coordination between civil works and MEP, architectural, and other disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant construction experience, preferably with a main contractor.
• Proven UAE construction experience is mandatory.
• Experience working with a main contractor is mandatory; consultant-only experience will not be considered.
• Strong experience in building construction, particularly apartment/residential projects.
• Experience in site execution, structural works, finishing works, and coordination of multiple construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards, and authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates must be willing to work at Qasr Al Jurf, Abu Dhabi.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with large-scale residential, apartment, hotel, or mixed-use building projects.
• Experience working on projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Experience coordinating with consultants and subcontractors on major construction projects.
