Senior Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and construction works.
• Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.
• Review drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship and materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Coordinate with the project manager and other engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for site activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities, inspections, approvals, and changes.
• Support testing, inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer.
• Must have experience working with a UAE-based contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site execution, and technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of relevant project management software is an advantage.
• UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong UAE contracting experience and a proven track record of successfully managing site activities and delivering construction projects are preferred.
