Job Summary

Abirami Engineering is looking for an experienced and motivated Site Engineer – Electrical to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in electrical engineering, transformer erection and installation, electrical testing, commissioning, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate transformer erection and installation activities.
• Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning at project sites.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, technicians, contractors, and site workers.
• Identify technical issues and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and support timely completion of assigned activities.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, site execution, or commissioning.
• Knowledge of electrical installation, transformer erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and standards.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in transformer erection and installation.
• Experience in electrical testing and commissioning.
• Experience in site supervision and contractor coordination.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
