Senior Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day civil construction activities and ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Supervise RCC works, foundations, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
• Monitor site execution, quality, safety, and progress of work.
• Interpret and coordinate structural, architectural, plumbing, and other project drawings.
• Ensure compliance with CPWD specifications, GCC provisions, IS codes, and quality standards.
• Verify executed quantities against approved BOQs and drawings.
• Prepare measurements, measurement sheets, and supporting documentation for RA bills.
• Maintain records for quantity verification and joint measurements with CPWD/client representatives.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Report project progress, quality issues, and site challenges to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in CPWD, Government Buildings, PSU Projects, or similar institutional projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of RCC structures, foundations, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Experience managing multi-storey building projects with substantial project values.
• Thorough understanding of CPWD specifications, GCC provisions, IS codes, and construction quality standards.
• Proficiency in reading and coordinating structural, architectural, plumbing, and MEP drawings.
• Experience in quantity surveying, BOQ verification, measurements, and RA bill preparation.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and site management skills.
