MSK Consultants and Engineers is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Engineer specializing in Interior Fitouts and MEP Services with over 10 years of field execution expertise. In this role, you will lead high-end interior transformations for commercial and residential projects, managing complete fitout scopes, joinery, ceiling works, and multi-trade MEP integration. You will serve as the primary on-site technical authority translating detailed architectural, RCP, and MEP drawings into seamless, high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Interior Fitout Execution & Site Marking Transfer gridlines, wall axes, partition layouts, and ceiling datum levels directly from AutoCAD drawings to site surfaces using laser levels and Total Stations. Supervise complete fitout operations, including drywalls, acoustic wall cladding, modular joinery, loose furniture, custom cabinetry, flooring (marble, tile, wooden), and glass glazing. Review architectural Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP) and shop drawings to verify spatial clearances and ceiling coordination.

2. MEP Coordination & Drawing Review Review MEP combined services drawings (CSD) to resolve clashes between HVAC ductwork, fire sprinkler lines, electrical cable trays, plumbing, and architectural ceiling/wall profiles before execution. Direct the installation and positioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage (LV/IT/CCTV) services in full alignment with interior layouts. Coordinate ceiling cutouts, light fixtures, AC diffusers/grilles, smoke detectors, and sprinkler drop locations to ensure strict aesthetic alignment with approved interior finishes.

3. Vendor & Subcontractor Oversight Manage specialized interior fitout sub-trades (civil works, MEP contractors, joinery suppliers, ceiling installers, and glass/metal fabricators). Enforce weekly micro-schedules, track material delivery pipelines, and resolve field inter-trade conflicts. Audit completed works on-site to verify, measure, and certify subcontractor Running Account (RA) bills and final measurement books.

4. Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Implement strict QA/QC standards for fitout materials, including wood grade/moisture content, laminate quality, paint finishes, glass thickness, and MEP hardware. Conduct pressure testing for plumbing/fire piping, electrical continuity testing, and air balancing checks prior to final handover. Perform pre-closing inspections above false ceilings (clearance of plenum space, fire-stopping, cable tray support structural integrity). Maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), manage snag lists, and drive quick-turnaround de-snagging before client sign-off.

5. HSE & Reporting Enforce indoor site safety, dust mitigation, hot work permits, and proper ventilation during painting, cutting, and MEP installations. Generate Daily Progress Reports (DPR), track material reconciliation, and flag potential schedule delays to senior management.

Key Qualifications & Technical Requirements

Education: B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of proven site execution experience specifically focused on interior fitouts, corporate/commercial fit-outs, luxury residential, or hospitality projects.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (reading, drafting fitout shop drawings, and RCPs), MEP overlay review, Total Station/Laser level setting out, and material take-offs. Core Competencies: Interior finish detailing, multi-service clash resolution, high-end joinery inspection, vendor management, and strict fitout QA/QC.
