Senior Site Engineer /Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a competent and dedicated Senior Site Engineers / Site Engineers to join our project team and be based full-time on site at Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang or at Perak for our warehouse project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating site activities, ensuring construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site construction activities from commencement through completion and CCC.
• Supervise and monitor contractors, sub-contractors, and site workers to ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor project progress, construction quality, and site productivity.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, clerk of work, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders on site matters.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate the resolution of technical and construction-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure all works comply with project quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues, discrepancies, and technical matters in a timely manner.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure site activities are completed within the required timeline.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, site documentation, inspection records, and other project-related reports.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or M&E Engineering, Architectural, Construction, or other related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site engineering experience for Site Engineer; and 5 years for Senior Site Engineer.
• Experience in warehouse, industrial, factory, or large-scale building projects is highly preferred.
• Experience in Design & Build projects will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and site management.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of project quality, safety, and construction requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively manage site activities.
• Willing to be based full-time at the project site in Batu Kawan Pulau Pinang or Perak.
