Senior Site Foreman

About the role

As a Site Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams, including tradespeople, labourers and subcontractors
• Monitoring project progress and quality, and implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and site procedures
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
• Preparing daily reports, timesheets and other documentation as required
• Providing on-site training and mentoring to less experienced team members

About you

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specifications
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and make timely decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and basic operation on AutoCAD
• Driving License and Safety Supervisor certification required
• Night shift availability required
