Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Infra Ops

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Infra Ops to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role is focused on building and operating the infrastructure that keeps production systems secure, reliable, and scalable. You will partner closely with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows, strengthen observability, and drive operational excellence across distributed environments. The position also blends hands-on platform engineering with automation, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $152,500 – $205,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and operate Kubernetes platforms for secure and scalable production services.
• Build infrastructure as code with Terraform for reusable and governed workflows.
• Develop backend services and automation tools to enhance developer experience.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design solutions for reliability and performance.
• Improve the production lifecycle through CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Define observability practices for effective issue detection and troubleshooting.
• Own production reliability through incident response and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes for production clusters and containerized workloads.
• Strong Terraform skills for creating reusable modules and managing infrastructure changes.
• Production software development experience in Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven track record of improving reliability, performance, and cost efficiency in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and core networking concepts.
• Strong observability and troubleshooting skills using metrics and logs.
