About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join TigerSoft in our Bang Khen Bangkok office. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in architecting robust applications, mentoring junior developers, and driving technical excellence across our development teams. Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable software solutions using industry best practices and modern programming languages
• Lead the technical architecture and implementation of complex software projects from conception through deployment
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth and technical development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and quality assurance engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimising performance and reliability of applications
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending adoption of new tools and methodologies where appropriate
• Document technical specifications, architecture decisions, and development processes to maintain knowledge continuity

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang, C#, ASP.net, or similar languages
• Demonstrated experience with full-stack development or specialisation in backend/frontend development with architectural knowledge
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to team development initiatives
• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), or microservices architecture
• Preferred: Exposure to agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira or Confluence
