Senior Software / AI Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a senior engineer to help execute our digital transformation from the inside out. You'll work at the frontier of applied AI, building automation that reaches every corner of the company, from the shop floor to the back office, in a manufacturing environment where your work has a visible, measurable impact.

You'll be at the center of a dynamic team working with the newest technologies, with real ownership of what you build.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience automating processes in an enterprise setting, loves building things from scratch, and enjoys working closely with non-technical stakeholders to turn their ideas into working solutions.

What you'll do

• Own software projects end-to-end. Lead a wide range of initiatives, from custom full-stack development to RPA, AI-driven systems, and agentic solutions. You'll take projects from problem definition and architecture through deployment and long-term maintenance.
• Build AI, automation, and agentic systems. Design and implement AI models, machine learning workflows, RPA solutions, and agentic architectures that run reliably in production.
• Drive infrastructure and engineering excellence. Manage infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring scalability, performance, security, and high code quality through strong engineering practices and governance.

What we're looking for

• Technical agility. You pick up new frameworks quickly while holding yourself to high standards for clean code, thorough documentation, data safety, and compliance.
• An ownership mindset. You independently manage projects from the first stakeholder conversation to deployment, and you're comfortable being the person accountable for the result.
• Fluency with AI coding assistants. You use them as a core part of your development workflow and critically validate their output to ensure quality and security. This is a must.
• Curiosity. You actively follow emerging AI developments and bring what you learn back to the team.
• Experience. 3+ years in software development or AI engineering, with strong Python skills. Other languages are a plus.
