Senior Software Developer

Senior Software Developer serves as both a technical leader and hands-on developer, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions. The position is expected to drive projects from requirements gathering and solution architecture through development, testing, deployment, user adoption, and ongoing support.

The successful candidate must possess strong technical expertise, business process understanding, project leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with department heads to identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.

Work Schedule: 6 days a week | Shifting Schedule (No Night Shift) Location: 61 C, Roosevelt Ave, Santa Cruz, Quezon City, 1104 Metro Manila

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet with department heads and process owners to understand operational challenges and system requirements.
  • Conduct business process analysis and workflow mapping.
  • Gather, document, validate, and prioritize system requirements.
  • Create functional specifications and technical design documents.
  • Recommend technology solutions aligned with company objectives
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.

• Software Development & Programming

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications.
  • Develop web-based, desktop, mobile, or cloud-based solutions as required.
  • Build APIs and integrations between company systems and third-party platforms.
  • Develop scalable database structures and application architecture.
  • Create reusable code and maintain coding standards.
  • Ensure security, performance, and maintainability of developed solutions.

• Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead software development projects from concept to implementation.
  • Create project timelines, milestones, and deployment plans.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
  • Conduct sprint planning and project reviews.
  • Manage development priorities based on business impact.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed scope.

• System Integration & Automation

  • Develop integrations between internal systems and external platforms.
  • Automate repetitive business processes.
  • Implement workflow automation solutions.
  • Improve data synchronization across systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.

• Testing System Features and readiness prior deployment

  • Develop and enforce software testing standards.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and resolve system defects.
  • Monitor application performance and reliability.
  • Ensure production readiness before deployment.

• System Maintenance & Support

  • Maintain existing systems and applications.
  • Monitor application performance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and root causes.
  • Implement enhancements and feature improvements.
  • Ensure system uptime and reliability.

• Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain complete technical documentation.
  • Establish coding standards and development procedures.
  • Document system architecture and integrations.
  • Ensure version control and deployment controls are followed.
  • Create disaster recovery and business continuity procedures

• Technology Innovation & AI Implementation

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and software trends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical field.
• 7+ years software development experience
• 3+ years leading software projects
• Experience managing full software development lifecycles
• Experience building enterprise applications
• Experience with CRM, ERP, HRIS, and workflow systems
• Experience in business process automation
• MUST have strong PORTFOLIO
