Role Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications with a focus on backend development, cloud-native practices, and DevOps. Analyse complex business requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions while maintaining coding standards.

What Youll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and integrate services using Apache Camel for enterprise integration and messaging
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions
• Design, develop, document, and maintain RESTful APIs
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps best practices
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent solutions
• Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Continuously improve development processes, coding standards, and engineering practices

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• Strong experience with Java (Java 11 or higher), Spring Boot, and Apache Camel
• Experience in REST API development and integration
• Strong SQL knowledge, including schema design, normalization, stored procedures, and query optimization
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot, and Git version control
• Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
• Proven experience delivering enterprise software applications
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with Linux environments
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
• Knowledge of application security best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
