Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Windows desktop applications to support automation and equipment interaction.

• Implement system modules related to workflow execution, data handling, and operational logic.

• Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal engineers to define integration requirements.

• Participate in daily technical discussions covering architecture, design, testing, and delivery.

• Ensure high-quality coding standards, documentation, and system robustness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong desktop application skills.

• Manufacturing domain experience, preferably within semiconductor or high tech production environments.

• Equipment integration experience, including common communication protocols (e.g., SECS/GEM, TCP/IP).

• Strong Windows application development skills (e.g., C#, .NET, WPF/WinForms).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Able to work on-site in Penang for close collaboration, rapid design iterations, and team alignment.

• Proactive, independent, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup-style environment.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with automation systems at Level 4–6.

• Familiarity with MES, material handling, or equipment control systems.

• Semiconductor workflow knowledge.
