Cross Care Group is an Australian community care and allied health provider. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on developer who can turn business needs into reliable applications, integrations and automation, and take responsibility for the systems behind them.

The goal is to give the business dependable technical ownership: understand the problem, recommend a practical approach, deliver it, and keep it working. You should be comfortable moving work forward independently and explaining technical decisions in plain English.

What you will own

• Build and improve internal applications using React, TypeScript and SharePoint Framework (SPFx), alongside Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools.

• Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows, Microsoft Graph and REST API integrations, and appropriate Azure services.

• Take existing applications and automations through investigation, fixes, testing, deployment and ongoing support.

• Translate operational requirements into clear priorities, estimates and acceptance criteria. Recommend when to configure an existing product and when a custom solution is justified.

• Support our wider technology environment, including SharePoint, access and onboarding workflows, learning systems, websites, communications tools and vendor integrations. Investigate unfamiliar systems and coordinate specialist help when needed.

• Handle day-to-day IT administration and staff support, including Microsoft 365 user accounts, secure password resets, multi-factor authentication, licences, permissions, onboarding and offboarding, and common software troubleshooting.

• Keep code, configuration, documentation and handover information organised. Apply sensible access controls, protect confidential information, and make changes recoverable.

• Communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly, raising issues early with a recommendation and next action.

What we need from you

• Strong commercial experience delivering and supporting software used by a real business.

• Hands-on React, TypeScript and SPFx development, plus SharePoint Online and Power Automate experience.

• Practical API integration experience, including Microsoft Graph, authentication and troubleshooting.

• The ability to diagnose an existing application or workflow, make a safe change, and verify that it works.

• Good judgement about scope, maintainability, security and business value.

• Clear written and spoken English, reliable follow-through, and the confidence to ask useful questions without needing every technical step specified.

• Availability for regular overlap with Queensland business hours. Exact hours will be agreed before starting.

Useful additional experience

Azure, Power Apps, n8n or similar automation platforms; Microsoft 365 administration; Moodle; website maintenance; cloud telephony; and responsible use of AI coding and automation tools. We value demonstrated delivery more than a long list of certifications.

Engagement and paid trial

This is a fully remote opportunity for someone working from the Philippines. Applications are welcome from anywhere in the Philippines; the Manila listing location is used for job-board placement.

The proposed rate is US$13–20 per hour, depending on demonstrated capability. We expect an initial four-week paid trial at approximately 20 hours per week. Ongoing work and any increase in hours will depend on mutual fit, delivery and business needs, with arrangements agreed after the trial.

We are hiring an individual who will personally carry out the work and remain accountable for delivery. The trial will involve a practical business requirement and improvements to an existing application or workflow. We will assess your judgement, communication, quality, reliability and ability to deliver with limited day-to-day direction.
