Role Description The Senior Software Developer - Integration is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between SnazzyHR and third-party systems, such as ATS, HRIS, payroll, and communication platforms. This role involves architecting robust APIs and data pipelines, implementing secure and scalable integration solutions, and troubleshooting complex issues across distributed systems. The individual will collaborate closely with product managers, other developers, and customer success teams to translate integration requirements into technical designs and deliver high-quality, testable code. Day-to-day work includes reviewing pull requests, optimizing performance, improving reliability, and documenting integration workflows and best practices. The role also includes mentoring other developers on integration patterns and contributing to technical standards that support SnazzyHR’s growing ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in back-end software development using languages such as Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, webhooks, and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with integration patterns, ETL processes, and data synchronization across SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2, JWT, and SAML.
• Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control using tools like Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile or iterative development environments and collaborating in distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience integrating HRTech, recruiting, or enterprise SaaS products is a strong plus.
