Senior Software Developer (Java + Oracle PL/SQL)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and improve scalable software applications.

• Participate in technical design and architectural discussions.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers.

• Work with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and improve system reliability and scalability.

• Apply best practices in security, testing, and CI/CD.

• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Experience with Life, Group, or Health Insurance applications.

• Strong skills in Java and Oracle PL/SQL.

• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and modern application architectures.

• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and Git.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA), particularly Product Setup, Claims, and other modules.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

• Understanding of system design and scalability.

• Strong Oracle Database skills, including complex queries, CSV generation, and reporting.

Pay: Php90,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
