Senior Software Developer, MCP/AI

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Developer MCP/AI to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $123,000 – $180,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex agentic subsystems including tool orchestration
• Clarify requirements and take ownership end-to-end from design to production support
• Build and manage evaluation metrics for AI behavior including quality and safety
• Embed trust elements like human-in-the-loop processes and traceability into workflows
• Balance trade-offs across model choice, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to the architecture and facilitate cross-product integrations
• Lead root-cause analysis for production issues and improve quality through testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade software
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web technologies (e.g. React)
• Demonstrated experience building AI/ML-powered features in production
• Applied ML literacy including prompt design, retrieval, and evaluation of model behavior
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
