Senior Software Developer – Python, PL/SQL & Automation

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Software Developer

with strong hands-on expertise in

Python, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and automation

, preferably with experience in

Telecom Billing and CRM systems

.

The candidate will be responsible for application development, automation, system integration, troubleshooting and supporting complex billing/CRM platforms and cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications, utilities and automation scripts using

Python, PL/SQL and SQL

.

Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using

Playwright and Pytest

.

Develop and support

batch jobs, data processing utilities and database procedures

.

Integrate applications using

REST/SOAP APIs

and middleware platforms.

Troubleshoot complex issues across

application, database and integration layers

.

Support CI/CD pipelines, application releases and deployments across

Dev, SIT, UAT and Production

.

Work with containerised/cloud environments including

Kubernetes, OpenShift and AWS

.

Support billing and CRM transformation, upgrade and migration projects.

Required Skills

10+ years

of software development experience.

Strong hands-on

Python development

.

Strong

Oracle PL/SQL and SQL

, including procedures, packages, functions and complex queries.

Experience with

Playwright/Pytest automation frameworks

.

Strong Unix/Linux and

Shell Scripting

experience.

Experience with

REST, SOAP/WSDL and system integrations

.

Experience with

CI/CD, Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP)

.

Exposure to

AWS EC2, RDS and Linux environments

.

Strong debugging and production issue-resolution capabilities.

Preferred Domain Experience

Telecom

Billing/BSS and CRM systems

.

Knowledge of

billing, payments, rating/charging, invoicing, order management and provisioning

.

Experience with platforms such as

Ericsson BSCS, ZSmart, Siebel CRM or Salesforce

would be advantageous.

Experience working in

Agile/Scrum

delivery environments.
