Senior Software Development Engineer

Overview:

Our client is a global healthcare company that was created when they spun off its healthcare division 2 years ago. It focuses on medical-surgical products, dental solutions, health information systems, and purification & filtration technologies and operates in 90+ countries with a history of innovation stretching back over decades.

They are looking to add to their growing team in Ireland by hiring an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer.

This is a remote role but candidate must be based in Ireland with full working rights.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world working with our AI and Speech Recognition technology driven cutting edge product by:

• Taking on the role of Software Engineer and contributing to the backend of applications targeted at reducing physician burnout and increasing physician patient engagement.
• Taking ownership of solutions meant to improve the quality of clinical documentation and improving patient care.
• Solving interesting and complex problems using state of the art technology with impactful outcomes.
• Working together with the customers, user experience, and other product groups.
• Participating in and making your mark on the team’s software development process

How You Will Make An Impact:

• Contributing code to a diverse and hybrid product codebase (backend)
• Performing code reviews
• Participating in sprint planning and task breakdown
• Creating design documents and peer reviewing design documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher along with 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• 4+ years of experience working with one or more of the following modern programming languages C#, JavaScript Frameworks (React/Angular), Node.JS, Go, Python,
• Working knowledge of Cloud based platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP
• Working knowledge of container-based technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
