Senior Software Engineer – Agentic AI

e’re looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join an early-stage technology company building an advanced Agentic AI product.

This is not a traditional software engineering role. You’ll work alongside autonomous engineering agents throughout the development lifecycle, while taking ownership of the engineering judgment, architecture, quality, and technical decisions behind what ultimately reaches production.

What you’ll do:

• Own features and technical initiatives from idea through production

• Translate product and business requirements into clear engineering briefs

• Direct and work alongside autonomous coding agents

• Review and challenge AI-generated specifications, architecture, and code

• Make technical and architectural decisions

• Ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability before merge

• Identify opportunities where agentic workflows can improve traditional development processes

• Continuously improve how engineers and autonomous agents work together

• Work closely with leadership and product teams in a high-ownership environment

• Remain hands-on where human engineering judgment matters most

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in backend and software engineering

• Deep understanding of system design and software architecture

• Strong experience working with production environments

• Excellent engineering judgment and the ability to critically evaluate technical solutions

• Ability to take ownership and drive initiatives without waiting for detailed instructions

• Hands-on approach to complex engineering challenges

• Experience with LLMs, AI coding tools, autonomous agents, or Agentic AI workflows is highly relevant

• Genuine interest in exploring new ways of building software with autonomous AI agents
