Senior Software Engineer (AI Native Development)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop scalable software solutions in the supply chain analytics and data domain .

This role goes beyond traditional software development. You will take ownership of features end-to-end, contribute to architectural decisions, work across data, backend and frontend layers, and use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of scalable software features.
• Develop solutions across Python/PySpark, AWS Lambda and React .
• Design modular, secure and highly scalable software architectures.
• Define APIs, contracts, data structures and interfaces before implementation.
• Use AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and similar tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review and validate AI-generated code through automated testing, code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests .
• Work with CI/CD, DevOps, DataOps and observability practices.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain production systems.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product teams to transform machine learning models into production-ready solutions.
• Contribute to architectural reviews and technical decision-making.
• Build reusable AI-assisted development workflows and tooling where appropriate.

AI & Modern Engineering

• Experience using AI coding assistants and AI-powered development tools in daily software development.
• Ability to leverage AI for planning, architecture, implementation, debugging, testing and documentation.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated solutions critically and ensure they meet engineering, security and quality standards.
• Experience working with AI agents, CLI-based AI tools or Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of when AI can improve productivity and when traditional engineering approaches are more appropriate.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience .
• Experience developing scalable SaaS or cloud-based applications.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Python
• PySpark / Apache Spark
• AWS Lambda / Serverless
• React
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and software architecture .
• Strong testing mindset and experience with automated testing.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices .
• Ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with supply chain analytics , demand forecasting, inventory management or price optimization.
• Experience with ETL/data pipelines and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Databricks.
• Knowledge of NumPy, Pandas and Scikit-learn .
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MSSQL.
• Knowledge of columnar data formats.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Terraform .
• Experience with batch and streaming data processing.
• Experience productionizing machine learning models.
