Senior Software Engineer - AI Security

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AI Security to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will own end-to-end product development, taking ideas from concept through production in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will help build and ship AI-powered security products across the full stack, with a strong emphasis on practical user workflows, scalable systems, and rapid iteration. This position also partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define problems, make decisions with limited specifications, and improve team productivity through modern AI tooling.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $153,000 – $255,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development from idea to production.
• Build and ship AI-powered security products across frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Develop scalable, high-quality interfaces and systems for real user workflows.
• Define problems and make decisions with minimal specs.
• Drive adoption based on real usage rather than just requirements.
• Leverage AI tooling and LLMs to improve team productivity.
• Continuously improve systems, code quality, and developer workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience across frontend and backend development.
• Strong interest in AI-powered development, including LLMs, agents, and automation.
• Proficiency in building end-to-end products including UI, APIs, and deployment.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable code with strong fundamentals.
• Experience operating in low-structure, fast-moving environments with minimal dependencies.
• Demonstrates high agency and first-principles thinking.
