Our focus on In-Play betting has solidified our market-leading position, featuring more than 1.38 million In-Play sporting events a year. With over 750 concurrent sporting fixtures at peak and more live sports streamed than anyone else in Europe (750,000), we handle over 6 million HTTP requests daily and process more than 1.5 million bets per hour at peak.

We are seeking passionate and experienced Senior Developer to join our dedicated AMO team as we embark on a ground up re-architecture.

In collaboration with our UK teams, you will be enhancing and supporting our business critical AMO platforms; from the delivery of real time facial recognition systems utilising innovative AI technology to core operational tooling.

AMO operates as a full stack team who are in the process of undertaking a ground up re-architecture into Golang, react and cloud platforms. Core skills within the team are Kafka, SQL, .Net, Golang and Typescript; We are looking for candidates with solid experience in one or more of these technologies, though expertise in similar or alternative technologies are welcome.

In collaboration with our UK teams, you will work alongside our Technical Leads to design and implement robust verification systems, while ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products, in a fast-paced, hard working environment. Your skills as a lead developer should set the standard to a talented group of developers to innovate and excel in delivering reliable solutions, while fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

The listed salary for this position is $125,000 - $155,000 annually.

• Experience in leading development teams and delivering technical projects to successful completion.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring in technical subject areas.

• Ability to prioritize people and conversations over process.

• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced pressured environment.

• Commercial experience using Cloud Platforms.

• Knowledge of React and Typescript.

• Experience with Golang Micro services.

• Exposure to C#, .net, MSSQL and/or WPF.

• To be an escalation for the team both in and out of office hours.

• To lead and deliver the development of scalable, maintainable and performant systems.

• Applying active governance around overall solution design, while setting the standard for code quality and delivery within the team.

• Ensuring solutions meet the needs of the business.

• Taking responsibility for work estimation, producing solution documents and ultimately ensuring accurate portrayals of effort can be obtained and subsequently delivered.

• Having or gaining an in depth understanding of the technical structure, domain and architecture of the systems the team is responsible.

• Lead a small team of developers in the design and development of a solution from start to finish.

• Owning technical solutions and their hands on delivery from development to live at low level.

• Distributing knowledge and mentoring of team members.
