Senior Software Engineer - AS400

Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400/IBM i applications based on business requirements. 

Develop and maintain programs using RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2/400, and SQL. 

Analyze requirements, perform impact analysis, and provide technical solutions. 

Troubleshoot application and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes. 

Develop and maintain interfaces and batch processes involving SFTP, APIs, MQ, EDI, and other integration technologies. 

Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure application quality. 

Support production deployments, job monitoring, incident resolution, and application maintenance. 

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, program flows, and application support documents. 

Coordinate with business analysts, technical teams, and onshore/offshore teams to deliver requirements. 

Participate in estimation, task planning, and project delivery activities. 

Identify opportunities for automation, application modernization, and AI-assisted development. 

Follow coding standards, development processes, and change/release management practices.
