Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Solution Engineer , you’ll own solutions end-to-end — from understanding the problem and designing the architecture to implementation, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

You’ll work extensively with Java, AWS, and Snowflake , while also contributing to data products, cloud-native integrations, automation, and AI-enabled use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade software and data solutions.
• Develop scalable, secure, and well-governed data pipelines and data products using AWS and Snowflake .
• Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Model, curate, and optimize Snowflake datasets, schemas, and data structures.
• Apply software engineering best practices including clean code, modular design, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure development.
• Build cloud-native integrations and automation using AWS compute, storage, networking, security, orchestration, and event-driven services.
• Explore and implement AI-enabled solutions using services such as Amazon Bedrock where appropriate.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Own deployment, release, and production operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, resolve incidents, and tune performance.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and reuse of proven engineering patterns.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to support coding, refactoring, testing, documentation, debugging, and solution exploration.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in hands-on software engineering, solution engineering, or data engineering.
• Proven experience delivering and operating production-grade enterprise systems .
• Deep hands-on AWS experience , including core services covering compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, orchestration, monitoring, and serverless/event-driven architectures.
• Strong proficiency in Java and software design principles.
• Experience with APIs, automated testing, packaging, dependency management, and production maintainability.
• Strong familiarity with SDLC, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, DevOps, and production support.
• Experience building and operating data products, cloud services, or AI-enabled solutions .
• Strong hands-on engineering mindset with emphasis on code quality, maintainability, and sound technical design.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical scope, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential data and collaborate with governance, risk, and security stakeholders.

Good-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data platforms.
• AWS certification, ideally AWS Certified Solutions Architect .
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock and AI solution patterns.
• Familiarity with agent-based AI, RAG, model evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor , or similar.
• Familiarity with harness engineering or similar AI-assisted development concepts.
• Background in the financial industry , including familiarity with financial markets, data sensitivity, regulatory expectations, and enterprise risk controls.
