Role Description The Senior Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Yangon. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and applications, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, review code, and provide mentorship to junior team members. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, conducting code and architecture reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production systems.
• Advanced Programming skills and hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in one or more modern languages (e.g., javascript and php).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, APIs, and integration with third-party services.
• Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring other engineers and contributing to technical decision-making and architecture discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
