Position: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using OneTick for time series data management.
• Build high-performance Java applications for market data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
• Manage large volumes of tick, trade, quote, and reference data.
• Optimize database performance, query execution, and data retrieval.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, business analysts, and engineering teams.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards.
• Support production platforms and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technology strategy.

What youll need:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering .
• Strong expertise in OneTick or KDB or any times series database.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Experience with SQL and data modelling.
• Linux/Unix proficiency.
• Strong understanding of FIX protocol.
• knowledge of Front office systems.
• Java, Kafka, Springboot.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cloud environment experience.
• Event driven architecture experience.
