Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Lead Software Engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes full ownership of their work. This role is ideal for someone who can balance leadership with execution—driving system design, improving code quality, and delivering scalable, production-ready solutions across both backend and frontend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality features using .NET (Web API) and Angular
• Architect and implement scalable microservices and distributed systems
• Apply and advocate SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and best design practices
• Lead code reviews and elevate engineering standards across the team
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both frontend and backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-ready applications
• Drive robust testing practices including unit, integration, and E2E testing
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Azure-based deployments
• Support and evolve event-driven and microservices architecture
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, processes, and engineering standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience building and delivering end-to-end web applications
• Strong hands-on expertise in:

1. C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API
2. Angular (v16+), TypeScript, RxJS / NgRx

• Proven experience designing microservices and distributed systems
• Solid understanding of:

1. Clean Architecture
2. SOLID principles
3. Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure, including: o App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus
• Strong database skills: Writing optimized queries, stored procedures (SQL Server or equivalent)
• Experience with:

1. Unit testing (xUnit/nUnit, Jest)
2. Modern frontend tooling (Nx is a plus)

• Comfortable acting as both a technical leader and individual contributor
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright or other E2E testing tools
• Familiarity with Vertical Slice Architecture
• Experience optimizing Angular applications at scale
