Haccretion is building a connected real estate ecosystem designed to bring property discovery, property data, professional identity, social networking, communication, brokerage operations, transaction infrastructure and eventually financial services into one network.

We're hiring a Founding Software Engineer to help turn that architecture into a platform capable of operating at scale.

Compensation: $150,000/year

This is not intended to be a conventional software engineering position.

The engineers joining Haccretion at this stage will work directly on the foundational architecture of the platform and will have an opportunity to grow with the technical organization they help create.

As Haccretion expands its engineering organization, exceptional early engineers may progress into Lead, Director, VP of Engineering, or other senior technical leadership positions, potentially overseeing major areas of the Haccretion platform.

We are looking for people who want to build the system—and potentially help lead the organization that grows around it.

What You're Building

Haccretion approaches real estate as a network rather than a collection of disconnected products.

The platform is being designed around several interconnected systems:

Property Graph — Persistent digital identities for real estate, connecting property information, history, listings, ownership relationships and market activity.

Social Graph — Persistent identities and relationships connecting buyers, sellers, property owners, agents, brokers, lenders, investors and service professionals.

Marketplace — Property discovery across residential, commercial, land and other real estate categories.

Communication — Messaging and interaction between consumers, professionals and businesses within the real estate environment.

Transaction Infrastructure — The systems connecting discovery, professional relationships, brokerage activity, documents and ultimately transactions.

Haccretion AI — Intelligence operating across property, social and transaction data to support search, matching, automation, market intelligence and future platform capabilities.

The long-term objective is straightforward:

What You'll Do

You will work directly with Haccretion's founder and future engineering team to translate the existing product architecture into scalable production infrastructure.

Your responsibilities may include designing and developing core platform services; rebuilding and scaling existing functionality; developing APIs and data architecture; building property, identity and relationship systems; creating marketplace and search infrastructure; developing messaging, notifications and social functionality; integrating external property and business data; developing transaction-oriented systems; establishing engineering standards and infrastructure; and helping recruit and mentor additional engineers as the organization grows.

This position will have substantial influence over technical decisions made during Haccretion's foundational engineering stage.

Early engineers who demonstrate the technical ability and leadership required to own these systems will be natural candidates for senior leadership as those divisions develop.

The people who help build the foundation should have the opportunity to help lead what gets built on top of it.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for engineers who are comfortable with ambiguity, large systems and ambitious technical problems.

Strong candidates will have experience in several of the following areas: full-stack software engineering, backend systems, modern frontend frameworks, API architecture, relational and/or graph-oriented data systems, cloud infrastructure, search systems, geospatial applications, scalable consumer platforms, real-time communication, security, AI/ML integration or high-volume data systems.

Real estate experience is not required.

The ability to understand complicated systems and build reliable software is substantially more important.

Compensation & Long-Term Opportunity

Base Salary: $150,000/year

This role is being recruited as part of Haccretion's broader company-building and financing strategy.

Haccretion's founder is allocating 20% of company equity to the employee compensation pool as the company builds its foundational team alongside its current $20 million funding round.

Individual equity awards, vesting, role scope and other compensation terms would be established separately as part of an employment offer and should not be inferred from the size of the overall employee pool.

The objective is to create meaningful alignment between Haccretion and the people responsible for building its long-term infrastructure.
