Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a high-performing engineering team building the infrastructure, tools, and platforms that power advanced AI evaluation and development. This is a broad, hands-on role with significant ownership and variety.

You could be prototyping reinforcement learning environments one week, deploying large-scale distributed workloads on Kubernetes the next, and then improving platform reliability, analytics pipelines, or developer tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable systems including AI evaluation platforms, APIs, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, research, product, and design teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and code reviews.
• Solve complex scalability, performance, and reliability challenges.
• Contribute to the infrastructure, tooling, and data systems supporting advanced AI research and evaluation initiatives.
• Take ownership of projects from initial concept through deployment and iteration.

Required Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong experience building and shipping products end-to-end.
• Proficiency with React/Next.js and either Node.js or Python.
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Demonstrated ownership mentality and ability to work autonomously.
• Comfortable collaborating directly with technical stakeholders and end users.
• Bachelor's degree from a highly regarded university in North America or Europe.
• Experience working within fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week with flexible working hours.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working at high-growth startups, venture-backed technology companies, or as an early-stage engineering hire.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, data annotation, or evaluation platforms.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Background building large-scale distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Internship or early-career experience with leading technology companies.
• Experience supporting researchers, technical clients, or customer-facing engineering functions.
