Senior Engineer

We’re working with an established technology company that is growing a small, highly experienced engineering team in Gothenburg.

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting close to the technology - working at the systems level, solving complex technical problems and having genuine influence over how things are built.

The role

You’ll be working on high-performance, systems-level software , tackling technically challenging problems across networking and low-level engineering. You’ll join a small team of highly experienced engineers, giving you plenty of scope to take ownership, investigate problems deeply and contribute to technical decisions.

What we're looking for

• Strong professional experience with C and/or C++
• Excellent understanding of Linux
• Experience with systems or low-level software engineering
• Strong understanding of networking and how systems communicate
• Experience with areas such as Linux kernel development, eBPF, DPDK, packet processing, networking protocols or similar
• Comfortable debugging complex systems and getting to the root of difficult technical problems
• Someone who enjoys working autonomously and digging into how things actually work

Experience with Rust, Go, WireGuard, IPsec, reverse engineering or assembly would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
