Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance our web-based applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern web development technologies, including Drupal and PHP, and possess the ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and websites.
• Lead the development and customization of Drupal-based applications and content management systems.
• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and product owners/business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and security.
• Implement and maintain coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
• Manage source code repositories and development workflows using version control systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to junior developers.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and development tools.

About you

• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in web applications development.
• At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining applications using Drupal and PHP.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
• Experience with Drupal module development, customization, and deployment.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
• Experience using code versioning and source control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Business-level English proficiency (both written and spoken).
