About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in .NET-based application development and modern front-end technologies such as React. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who not only writes great code but can also take full ownership of designing application and feature-level architectures for new initiatives in consultation with our Chief Architect.

You will collaborate closely with the CTO and Chief Architect to execute modernization initiatives, architect clean solutions for new projects, and accelerate the organization’s adoption of AI-assisted development and AI-powered product capabilities.

This role requires an engineer who balances tactical code delivery with project-level architectural thinking in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

What You’ll DoEngineering & Project Architecture

• Lead hands-on development while designing feature and service-level architectures for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Chief Architect's platform vision.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using .NET / C# and modern React-based front-end frameworks.
• Contribute to modernizing legacy system components and evolving existing codebases toward modular, service-oriented patterns.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, data models, and integration points for new project builds.
• Collaborate with product and leadership teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and execution plans.

AI Enablement & Engineering Acceleration

• Help drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across the engineering team.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of AI-powered product features and third-party AI integrations.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and automation practices that improve developer velocity and product quality.

Azure Platform & Delivery

• Build, deploy, and support application services within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Work with Azure Web Apps, APIs, background processing services, SQL Server, and cloud messaging tools.
• Support CI/CD automation and modern deployment practices using Azure DevOps.
• Participate in application performance tuning, monitoring, and operational reliability efforts.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work collaboratively with distributed engineering teams across the U.S. and India.
• Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and help establish solid design practices across the team.
• Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery from initial technical setup to production release.

What You BringRequired

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including experience designing application-level architectures for new feature sets or projects.
• Strong experience building enterprise applications using .NET / C#.
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, service-oriented architecture, and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with MS SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications within Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated workflows, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to collaborate with software architects to translate technical guidelines into clean project implementations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical designs clearly with both technical peers and stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience participating in monolith-to-modular refactoring or legacy system modernization.
• Familiarity with AI integrations, LLM APIs, or intelligent workflows.
• Experience with SaaS application development or B2B integration platforms.
• Mentorship experience helping junior and mid-level developers adopt architectural best practices.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
