• The Fundamentals: A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design
• The API Layer: Experience designing and serving APIs, ideally GraphQL

• Own the Backend: Design, build, and deploy robust, scalable, high performance backend services in Java that power our core platforms
• Serve the Data: Expose backend endpoints through GraphQL, with efficient data fetching, query optimization, and clean integration with frontend systems
• Architect for Scale: Build event driven solutions on Kafka for seamless data flow, system reactivity, and extreme reliability

• Ship with AI: Use LLM and agentic tools to move fast, while keeping total ownership and full understanding of the generated code
