Senior Software Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions that drive our core systems forward. Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of complex software systems using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between distributed services and frontend applications.
• Develop scalable web applications utilizing JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code, and deliver high-quality features on time.
• Optimize system performance through effective use of design patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
• Maintain version control using GitHub or SVN, implementing CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Ensure security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and other compliance standards are integrated into all development phases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development with a strong background in IT infrastructure, system design for scalable systems, and web development.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, C, VBA, and.NET frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, SQL databases such as MySQL or MySQL-compatible systems, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for creating engaging user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including design patterns, scalability strategies, version control (GitHub or SVN), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and experience working within Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze system requirements and develop innovative solutions that enhance performance and security.

Pay: $146,547.27 - $158,739.32 per year
