Senior Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain robust web-based applications using modern full-stack technologies.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET/C# and ASP.NET Web API.
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React, JavaScript, jQuery, and Node.js.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server for database development, queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Develop and integrate applications with Azure Cloud Services.
• Implement caching solutions using Redis Cache where required.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
• Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and user guides.
• Follow Git-based version control, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile software development practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.

Required Technical Skills

Backend

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core and C#
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Web API
• Excellent understanding of RESTful Web Services / REST APIs
• Experience developing scalable and maintainable backend applications

Frontend

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with React
• Experience with Node.js and NPM
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience with modern frontend development frameworks and libraries

Database

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Good understanding of SQL queries, stored procedures, database design, and optimization
• Experience working with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Strong understanding of Git version control

Additional Technologies & Tools

• Visual Studio 2017 or later

Experience & Education

• 6+ years of overall experience in software development
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React, Node.js, NPM, and modern frontend technologies
• Strong professional experience in .NET/C# and Microsoft SQL Server
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Full Stack .NET developer who can independently work across both backend and frontend development, with strong experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web API, React, Node.js, SQL Server, Azure, Git, and CI/CD.

Candidates who have experience working on enterprise-scale web applications, cloud-based solutions, REST APIs, and Agile development environments will be preferred.
