Senior Software Engineer

An elite trading firm is looking for a C# Software Engineer with an interest in fixed income markets to join its technology team. The role involves developing modern trading systems that support order management, execution and trade processing across financial markets.

You'll work closely with traders and engineers to build scalable applications in a fast-paced trading environment.

The Role

• Develop C#/.NET applications supporting trade execution and order management.
• Build backend services to handle trade workflows and order processing.
• Integrate trading applications with internal platforms and external systems.
• Develop event-driven services using Kafka and modern messaging technologies.
• Improve system performance, reliability and scalability.
• Work with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience developing backend applications and distributed systems.
• Understanding of order management, trade processing or execution systems.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Background in fixed income or wider financial markets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to software development.
