Senior Software Engineer

At AYESAŞ, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute their technical expertise and experience to software development projects delivering critical engineering solutions for the defense industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Previous experience working as part of a software development team.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++ or Java.
• Knowledge and experience in software design and software development lifecycle processes.
• Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS), version control systems (Git, Subversion), and change management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Knowledge of and experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and solution-oriented working skills.

Job Description

• Carry out software development activities in line with project requirements.
• Take part in software design, coding, testing and verification processes.
• Contribute to ensuring that developed software meets the required standards for quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Manage requirements, version control, and change management processes using relevant tools.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that software development activities are completed on time and in accordance with defined quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.
