Senior Software Engineer

What You'll Do

Design, build and maintain scalable, secure backend services and APIs that power our core products

Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment and monitoring

Make architecture decisions with a focus on performance, reliability and security

Review code and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to raise the team's engineering standards

Work closely with product, design and business stakeholders to turn requirements into practical technical solutions

Improve CI/CD pipelines, observability and development workflows

Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause fixes

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong track record of shipping production systems

Proficiency in at least one backend language such as [Go / Python / Java / Rust]

Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB)

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD

Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems and API design

Good communication skills and comfort working with cross-border teams

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

Experience with smart contracts (Solidity)

Familiarity with security best practices and handling sensitive financial data

Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment
