Are you an experienced Software Engineer who enjoys building great products and helping others grow?

At RDT, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead a small team of talented engineers, shape technical direction, and deliver modern web applications used by some of the UK's leading insurers. You'll remain hands-on with development while taking ownership of squad delivery, technical quality and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

What You'll Be Doing

✅ Leading a squad of 3-5 engineers delivering modern web applications

✅ Developing cloud-native solutions using C#, .NET, Blazor and Azure

✅ Driving technical excellence through code reviews, architecture and best practice

✅ Working closely with Product, Delivery and Design teams

✅ Coaching and developing engineers through regular mentoring and leadership support

✅ Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to increase efficiency and quality

What We're Looking For

Ideally a graduate with 2-3 years experience, ready for that next step up.

✔ Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET and Blazor

✔ Experience building scalable cloud-based applications, ideally in Azure

✔ A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences

✔ Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers

✔ Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing and API development

✔ Someone who enjoys balancing technical excellence with commercial pragmatism
