Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer III – Full Stack to design, develop, enhance, and support in-house business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Angular 16+, .NET Core, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, along with expertise in API development, database design, and external system integrations.

The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient software solutions while following established development practices, DevOps CI/CD standards, and Agile Scrum methodologies.

Candidates located in or near Jacksonville, Florida, are strongly preferred due to the hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, existing applications, and information systems to identify and implement effective software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack applications using Angular and .NET Core.
• Build, integrate, and support RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Design, develop, and maintain databases using MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate applications with external systems and third-party services.
• Analyze application performance and recommend improvements to system architecture, functionality, and productivity.
• Perform code reviews, configuration audits, and software testing to ensure quality, accuracy, and performance.
• Support software installation, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
• Follow Git-based version control practices and established DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and end users.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, development guidelines, and application support materials.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve application usability, and enhance end-user experience.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced developers when required.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular 16 or later .
• Extensive experience with .NET Core 5+ / ASP.NET Core .
• Strong database development and maintenance experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL) and PostgreSQL .
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience integrating applications with external systems and services.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience working with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level business applications.
• Knowledge of application performance optimization and software quality best practices.
• Experience documenting technical processes and maintaining existing software systems.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and contribute to small- and medium-scale development projects.

Work Location

This is a hybrid contract position based in Jacksonville, Florida . Candidates who are local to Jacksonville or live within a reasonable commuting distance are strongly preferred.
