Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across cloud infrastructure and on-premises environments.
• Develop robust web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, integrating seamlessly with backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures utilizing programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or Ruby on Rails to support scalable system development.
• Implement and optimize database solutions using SQL-based systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Drive software development best practices through Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, code reviews, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and version control with Git or SVN.
• Design and implement APIs adhering to REST principles for seamless communication between distributed components.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications while applying design patterns for maintainable code.
• Ensure system security through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), secure coding practices, and compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to the evaluation and integration of cloud infrastructure services such as AWS or Azure to enhance system scalability and resilience.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role with a strong portfolio of developing scalable web applications and backend systems.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components supporting software deployment in cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on expertise in programming languages including JavaScript (React, Express), Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, C, or.NET frameworks.
• Deep understanding of software design principles, patterns, microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and system design for large-scale applications.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to foster collaborative project execution.
• Experience working with version control tools like GitHub or SVN alongside CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment processes.
• Strong background in database management using SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL; experience with NoSQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices including RBAC implementation and secure API development to protect sensitive data.
• Ability to work effectively in Linux environments and utilize modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React) for full-stack development.

Pay: $117,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year
