Senior Software Engineer

We're Hiring: Senior Software Engineer - Go/C Networking Platform

Join a team building next-generation, high-performance proxy and traffic-management software. We are seeking an experienced engineer to take ownership of an existing Go-based proof of concept and drive it through enterprise-grade production readiness.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and enhance an existing proxy platform written in Go.
• Develop traffic management, failover, connection draining, recovery, and telemetry capabilities.
• Build reliable software supporting persistent TCP connections and stateful traffic movement.
• Improve system performance, resiliency, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Create APIs and automation interfaces for operational tooling.
• Design and implement unit, integration, and component tests.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD integration, vulnerability remediation, and production support.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.

Required Qualifications

✅ 8+ years of software engineering experience

✅ Strong hands-on development experience in Go or C (required)

✅ Expertise in:

• Linux systems programming
• Socket programming
• Concurrency and multithreading
• TCP/IP networking
• Distributed systems
• High-availability and high-performance services

✅ Experience with:

• Automated testing and debugging
• Performance profiling and optimization
• Secure coding practices
• CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building proxy, load balancing, service mesh, network appliance, or traffic management products.
• Linux kernel networking expertise.
• eBPF development experience.
• Experience taking proof-of-concept software through enterprise SDLC and production deployment.
• Background supporting long-running production services in cloud or data center environments.
