• The Cyber Security Services team develops new capabilities for Client's Cyber Secure platform, which offers globally scalable products to detect and report on weaknesses in payments systems and transactions, to prevent fraud for Issuers, Acquirers and Merchants.
• You will work as part of an Agile development team within our program. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented engineer with strong leadership, initiative and communication skills. As a Senior Software Engineer, You Will

• Develop Java based applications using Spring boot and Micro-Services architecture in Cloud based environment.
• Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency with automations.
• Identify root causes of incidents and implement learnings.
• Assists with analysis of production issues.

About You

• Advanced in Java development, design patterns, threading, unit testing, debugging and focus mostly on backend development throughout your career.
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation with willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
• Able to mentor junior employees.

Education And Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related applicable experience.
• Advanced in Java development, design patterns, threading, unit testing, debugging and focus mostly on backend development throughout your career.
• Advanced skills and knowledge of Spring and developing Microservices.
• Cloud Development experience – PCF, AWS, Azure.
• Excellent communication skills with strong Agile knowledge.

• 2 years; there would be a possibility for a conversion, no possibility of an extension.

• Cyber Security Services; we are part of the Cyber and Intelligence Business unit here at Client.

What is your team’s main responsibility?

• We support two applications – Cyber Secure and Onboard Risk Check; our team develops the code for these applications and does all of the associated testing.

• Great team, a lot of folk in office TU/WE/TH, willing to help one another out and mentor. Really good.

Would you please describe your management style?

• Most likely reporting to Joe directly. Meets with CW at least on a monthly basis and will encourage to reach out when the needs present so he can connect them with best person on team. There is a testing team they'll be working clsoely with

What will a typical work day look like for this contractor?

• A couple of meetings sprinkled in, but mainly focused on software development / testing.

What will the work schedule be?

• Expected hours would be 8:30-4:30 or some derivation close to that with additional time added for lunch.
