Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (App Experience)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (App Experience) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will focus on building and improving customer-facing web and mobile experiences that support reliable, scalable digital financial services. The engineer will partner closely with product management, design, analytics, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across multiple software components. The work will also include maintaining operational stability, supporting team growth, and contributing to the quality and performance of the broader application experience.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $173,000 – $233,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Break down larger projects into manageable tasks and ensure timely delivery
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle
• Create and monitor metrics to support team operations and availability
• Engage in team growth activities, including participation in the interview process
• Support on-call efforts and maintain operational stability of team artifacts

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue
• Experience shipping mobile apps using React Native or other cross-platform languages
• Proficiency in designing and launching APIs using Kotlin or Python
• Ability to translate simple problems into scalable solutions across multiple software components
• Comfortable debugging large codebases and providing constructive feedback in code reviews
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
