Senior Software Engineer, GNN

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, GNN to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on building and optimizing large-scale machine learning solutions that support graph neural network work in a highly technical environment. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to advance customer-focused capabilities while helping improve performance, scalability, and adoption across distributed GPU-based workflows. The position also offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and solve complex challenges across multiple teams.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $152,000 – $287,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop PyTorch-based solutions for large-scale machine learning models
• Support GPU-accelerated library integrations for PyTorch workflows
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to create innovative graph neural network models
• Develop customer-focused solutions to aid the adoption of the company’s hardware and software
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team engineers
• Identify opportunities for codebase improvement and maintenance reduction
• Solve complex technical challenges and coordinate across multiple teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 5+ years in large-scale machine learning, deep learning, and data science, or a Master’s/PhD with 3+ years
• 3+ years of experience with PyTorch
• 2+ years of experience training enterprise-scale machine learning models across distributed infrastructure
• 2+ years designing and operating efficient workflows on GPU infrastructure
• Strong C++ programming and software design skills
• Experience developing and optimizing high-performance applications, preferably with GPU acceleration using parallel computing tools
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
