What You'll Be Doing

Cloud-Native Application Development

• Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable Java-based applications within a modern microservices ecosystem.
• Build resilient, high-availability solutions that support mission-critical business functions.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native engineering best practices across development teams.

Microservices Architecture

• Help lead the organization's transition toward an always-on, distributed microservices platform.
• Design reusable services and APIs that improve scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of enterprise technology operations.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers across multiple teams.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices initiatives.
• Help establish development standards and contribute to engineering excellence efforts.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

• Support modern CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
• Improve deployment reliability, observability, and system resilience.
• Work closely with infrastructure and platform teams to optimize development workflows.

Performance & Observability

• Enhance monitoring, logging, and application performance across large-scale distributed environments.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Ensure systems remain highly available, secure, and performant.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
• Strong SQL and database development experience.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices-based solutions.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience with OpenShift, container orchestration, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with modern observability and monitoring platforms.
• Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
