Chamberlain Group (CG) is a global leader in intelligent access and Blackstone portfolio company. Powered by our myQ technology, we make access simple and secure for millions of homeowners, businesses, and communities worldwide. Our flagship brands, LiftMaster® and Chamberlain®, are found in 51+ million homes, and 14 million+ people rely on the myQ® app daily.
Design, develop, and maintain middleware components, APIs, and platform services that support the Chamberlain Group’s myQ ecosystem. Supervise and lead 2–3 software engineers (onshore and offshore), assigning development tasks, reviewing code, and mentoring team members to ensure adherence to technical standards and timely completion of deliverables. Work using Agile methodologies (Scrum) to plan, develop, test, and deliver middleware features and platform enhancements. Serve as the primary point of contact and Scrum team representative for interactions with product owners, front-end, middleware, DevOps, and firmware functional teams. Participate in technical assessment, scoping, and management of code changes for new business requirements, product enhancements, and change requests. Analyze requirements and collaborate with architects and senior engineers to produce thoughtful software designs of moderate scope and complexity. Maintain domain-specific knowledge of key software application features, frameworks, and components within the myQ middleware environment. Lead and contribute to technical discussions, including design reviews, pull requests, and other engineering forums, to ensure alignment with best practices and architectural standards. Collaborate with other Chamberlain domain experts—such as infrastructure, database, and front-end engineers—to design and develop new features and platform enhancements. Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud development best practices to create reusable, maintainable code. Provide mentoring and coaching to junior engineers to increase the technical capability of the middleware development team. Ensure compliance with information security standards (ISO 27001) and company data-protection policies. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the overall team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. Telecommuting allowed.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, frameworks, and deployment processes. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience participating in iterative software development cycles.
