Senior Software Engineer - .NET - HYBRID

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - .NET - HYBRID to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will help shape the engineering direction for scalable digital solutions that support enterprise operations and improve delivery outcomes. The engineer will partner closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain modern applications, strengthen reliability, and accelerate software delivery. There is also a strong emphasis on AI-enabled productivity, cloud-native design, and engineering practices that support large-scale impact.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,000 – $215,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions and establish engineering standards
• Develop AI-powered tools to optimize delivery and enhance code quality
• Build and maintain scalable full-stack applications with .NET or Java
• Implement observability tools for system reliability and quick incident response
• Design cloud-native solutions using managed services and event-driven architectures
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and containers to streamline software deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated software delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments
• 4+ years of backend development with .NET, Java, or similar technologies
• Strong skills in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
